This handcrafted concert classical guitar is both aesthetically and tonally just wonderful.
Very well balanced across all registers and truly does represent the Granadian sound with the internal six fan bracing system. The guitar is light and bright and easy and yet has the added warmth and colour as found on most German and English made concert guitars. A very easy guitar to play too.
Andy's passion for guitars and guitar wood started where he grew up in Malawi, Central Africa. A relative newcomer, he fulfilled his long held dream of building classical and flamenco guitars in the traditional Granadan style.
In 2011, under the watchful eye of Master Luthier Stephen Hill, he hand built his first traditional Flamenco Guitar in La Herradura, Granada Province.
Andy's guitars have gained an appreciation from many players and luthiers across the globe.
He now lives and builds his guitars in La Herradura where he has been refining his skills.
Andy is committed to using sustainably sourced and properly seasoned wood in all his instruments.
He hand builds each instrument with love, passion, care and attention to detail, ensuring that each guitar looks great and has it's own unique and lovely voice.
Andy is definitely a luthier who sits amongst the finest...and for us here at NG it is our honour to represent his fine instruments.
